How popular is the girls name "Regina"?
If you go to the Social Secrurity web site, you can type in baby names and find out how popular they were last year and how popular they have been for the last 15 years.
Regina, for example, was listed as 604th Most Popular Name out of 1000.

Reply:Well it reminds me of a court document, when a child is in court, they protect their identity, for example R -v- Tuckshop limited. And R stands for Regina. So in my line of work,i hear it quite often.

Reply:Not something I would choose cause of the possible nickname when she gets older, that is the first thing i think of when i pick a name, what kids might call her if I named her this name like Regina, kids may call her Vagina.......
Reply:I think it's a very beautiful name. It means "Queen". It's popular, but not too common. So, a girl named Regina wouldn't be like any other Mary, Elizabeth and Jane.
