Reply:I would say SQL is the widest-used relational query language by far. (In fact, don't even know of another in widespread use currently, offhand.) Most popular RDBMSs would probably depend on whether you want to include mainframes or not. If not, I'd say top 4 (in no particular order, tho Oracle very likely #1) are Oracle, SQL Server, Access and MySQL...number 5 probably a coinflip and far behind those 4. If you include mainframes, DB2, Terradata and IDMS would probably also be contenders.
I'd say PL/SQL well outstrips T-SQL because of Oracle's strength in the market.
