What is the name of the Bone Thugs track that uses a popular 80s song for its backing beat (NOT "HOME")?

I heard a song on XM a few nights ago by Bone Thugs n Harmony that uses an eighties (pop) song for its backing beat. I am familiar with "Home", and it is not that. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

What is the name of the Bone Thugs track that uses a popular 80s song for its backing beat (NOT "HOME")?
bone has used a lot of tracks from the 80's 70's (even older) for songs

krayzie bone has sampled a lot of stuff from 80's tracks... are you sure it was a bone thugs song or a krayzie bone song or another members track?

give a little more detail to what the song was and i might be able to help you out

Is Dale Earnhardt Junior so popular because of his last name?

Or do you think it is because of his first name (Dale)?

Is Dale Earnhardt Junior so popular because of his last name?
Dale Jr is an average driver that has two type of fans, people who cheer for him because of his dad and fans who are new to the sport and just follow the crowd of AMP shirts. I am a huge SR. fan and a fan of his race team DEI. I can't stand Jr and after the dog and pony show that was the drama of give me 51% of the team I cant stand him even more. If dale jr just came in the sport with out his daddy paving the way, he woud be just as popluar as Jamie Mac.

(Not hatin' on the Macster)
Reply:Obviously he got attention because of his name, but he also got put under a whole lot of pressure trying to live up to that name, and he performed beautifully under that pressure, he has had his busch series championships, his dominance of Talledega and daytona, his all-star challenge win, And is THIRD in points and closing. HOW IS THAT MEDIOCRE??? He may have gotten some extra attention because of SR but if that is what made him the most popular man in racing why didn't it work for Petty, Waltrip, Labonte, Busch, Andretti??? Junior unlike alot of others with racing heritage came out, proved himself, and as been a great driver to follow, even through a two year drought.

note: No offense to the Petty, Waltrip, Labonte, Busch, and Andretti families as they are all great drivers too

Edit: So with this way of thinking shouldn't Kerry Earnhardt be the second most popular driver in NASCAR???
Reply:if it's just because of his last name, then why isn't kyle petty popular? his father was 'the king'. he won 200 races compared to dale sr's 76. hmmmm? anyone care to answer that? the fact is, junior is far MORE popular than his father ever was, so you haters need to come up with something better. and he's an average driver? well, the fact is that since his rookie year in 2000 only 3 drivers have won more races than him. jeff gordon, jimmie johnson, and tony stewart. and all 3 of them have been in top notch equipment their entire careers while junior has been over achieving in crappy DEI cars. and now that junior is finally in equal equipment he's schooling all 3 of those guys on a weekly basis. 3rd in points and leading all drivers with 11 top 10s. i've always said if you put junior in equal equipment, he'd show everyone that he is as good or better as any driver in NASCAR, and he's certainly proving me right. so if it makes you haters feel better to call him an average driver knock yourselves out. but we all know better don't we ?
Reply:you can think what you want I don't care I don't like him cause of his dad I like him for who he is period!! I think Jr is great I've been his fan since he started I think he gets alot of crap cause of his last name and it's not always fair he's a good guy, a great driver, he has respect for others on and off the track and I could go on but I won't cause your not really looking for a real answer to this question!! but I like other drivers to but Jr rules in my book!!
Reply:I think it started out because of his father. But you have to remember he also made a name for himself when he won 2 Busch championships back to back. He has talent. I feel he learned a lot of it from his father, but has come by his own too. We fans also stay true to him because of who is his personally. He is down to earth and is not cocky like so many others in the sport. He remembers he is where is because of his fans and never forgets to thank them for staying by him. So many others could care less about the fans and i have seen that at the races. They only sign autographs because they have to. Jr really looks like enjoys it and he has fun with the fans.
Reply:mr. know it all...kyle petty isn't popular because his dad never had a fan base as big as Dale Sr. Yes, his dad was the King, but during those times NASCAR was popular to the "south." As Nascar started gaining popularity, Dale Sr. was the man everyone wanted to cheer for...after death, JR adopted the fans. As Nascar noobs join the scene, they go with the fan fav. and they pretty much stick to him till the end..like a domino effect.
Reply:I think he initially got his fans because of his father. I think he kept his fans because he relates very well to the everyday person. Down to earth and layed back. He's a top 10 driver talent wise. He doesn't talk $hit or make excuses. He just does his thing and a lot of people respect that. There's no reason to dislike him aside from his crazier fans being jerks. But that's not his fault.
Reply:Reasons Junior is popular...

1. Last Name

2. Budweiser

3. He became popular from the first two, so now everyone who gets into Nascar that is to lazy to think for themselves likes him too, making him even more popular.
Reply:It is probably both. People shouldn't be comparing him to Dale Sr. because they are nothing like each other. Sr. never had a long of a win drought as long as Jr.

and if Jr. can get fans by his last name..why can't Kyle Petty? The dude's father is the King for crying out loud.
Reply:After all these years of trying to figure out how he became so popular, I've given up! I myself will never understand it.

I've got nothing against the guy, I just don't get how he became the messiah of nascar, boggles my mind.

But to each his own.
Reply:Sure he's and Earnhardt, but doesn't anyone remember him in the "Busch" Series. He was amazing. He made name for himself then. Also, recently, his name is so big because he left DEI for Hendrick, and his Mother wouldn't give him the #8.
Reply:yes it was because of his dad but for the bashers calling him just an average driver the average driver doesnt have 18 wins alot of the people that bash him like that just show how little they know about nascar and are just trying to be cute and diffrent.
Reply:Yes its the name. But Jr has that personality that draws you to him. He make every body feel like he is your friend. I don't care if its a bud commercial or wrangle jeans. I think that is what it is the boy next door thing
Reply:Yep his last name. Jr. fans just want to see an Earnhardt racing.

But you can't blame his fans for trying to hang on to the past glory with Dale Sr.

Too bad Jr. is just mediocre.
Reply:Yup, popular because of his last name, but I think he stays popular because of his good attitude and his will to try to be as good as his Dad.
Reply:i think who his father was and his last name helped him get started and get out there but he deff made a name for himself as a great driver..and the ladies love him cause he hot!!
Reply:He got most of his fans because of his dad.

I think he'd rather earn the fans on his own, not just because they were fans of his dad..
Reply:It is because of his first and last name. But he's a fan friendly driver and his points status shows that he's a very good driver.
Reply:His first name is Ralph, so it's gotta be the last name. Many drivers have won more races, so it surely can't be talent making him popular!
Reply:He is popular because of his last name..and for reasons I have yet to figure out, he seems to be the 'poster child' for NASCAR.
Reply:How does Junior make him popular
Reply:i think this is a stupid question

if you follow racing you would know

if you been watching as long as me its not just a name
Reply:yes yes yes yes yes yes yes it is his daddys name...
Reply:Because of his Daddy --- and a note to Spence - Budweiser sponsers Kasey Kahne, not Jr.
Reply:yes he has even addmitted as much in interviews...
Reply:I think it is because of his dad
Reply:YES!!! BECAUSE OF HIS FATHER!

Can you name a few foods popular in Medieval times?

And please describe them, but without going into too much detail.

Can you name a few foods popular in Medieval times?
Potatos. They also ate song birds (really), they almost wiped them all out in Europe.
Reply:turkey legs
Reply:All I can think of is mead, an alcoholic drink (fermented honey).
Reply:Swan with feathers, salad with fat drippings was very popular as was cabbage
Reply:"The food of the Middle Ages was very different from the food of today. During the Middle Ages in North Europe, the mainly used CATTLE AND SHEEP for food. In South Europe, they also had FRUITS, VEGETABLES, AND HERBS for food. They used OLIVE OIL RATHER THAN BUTTER.

A banquet was sometimes made up of 6 courses. It provided food for everyone, not just the rich and famous. Rule were laid down for how people ate, their table manners and where they sat. They used spoons and knifes for eating. They also used trenchers, which were things like plates except they were pieces of hard bread that would soak up the blood and liquids from the CHICKEN, TURKEY AND OTHER MEATS. A banquet was made up of many things, I will show you some of those things in the headings that follow.

Food was preserved in a number of ways. One way was that, meats and FISHES were smoked or dried. Another way of preserving was that fruits and vegetables were pickled. Meat for the winter was salted in huge wooden vats. Sometimes meat and fruit were stored together in barrels. The warmest place in the kitchen was the blazing hearth. A hearth was a huge fireplace. Food was often disguised with spices to hide the taste of rotten meat! The kitchen was a very lively place.

Sometimes castles kept honey bees. HONEY was used to sweeten foods and drinks. Sometimes water was channeled straight to the kitchen. Larger castles had their own fishponds, orchards, and vineyards.

In conclusion, I think the people of the middle ages ate a little worse than we do today. Though, they did have virtually the same silverware as we do and the same idea for today's modern plate."

Reply:Pumpkin custard. It was also Thomas Jefferson's favorite dessert! It's custard with cream and brown sugar cooked inside a whole pumpkin that has been cleaned out.

Another favorite was mutton! They cooked a whole lamb on a open pit!
Reply:FIRE-ROASTED MOOSE FLANKS. I guess it is the equivalent of our "BBQ back ribs". They serve it on a golden platter, all lined up with juicy fruits like lemons, and tomatoes. The entree' is served with ginger ale or if the host wants it with black-red wine.

Do you think Stacey will ever be a popular baby name again?

Yes lots of names resurface. 20 years ago no one named their baby Emily! It was only popular in the early 1900s. Now that's unfortunately all you hear!

Stacey is an OK name. I've actually met more male Staceys than females though, interestingly

Mohammed is now a more popular name amongst new borns than George in the UK. I find this disturbing.?

If the mountain wont come to mohammed then mohammed will have to be sent to the mountain. Preferably the himalays in India or Pakistan. The goverments of these afformentioned countries should be told to make plans to take their own people back. Since they are saying the 21st century is Asias century then the sooner they leave the better.

Mohammed is now a more popular name amongst new borns than George in the UK. I find this disturbing.?
That's nothing. Wait twenty years when Islam is Britain's official

religion and you have to publicly swear fealty to Allah so you can

stay in the country. That'll be a drag, won't it?
Reply:The reason for this is simple: indigenous families are typically smaller, whereas Black/Asian/Muslim families tend to be larger. These groups tend to be more family orientated and value/cherish children.

If you do not like this, then I suggest you start a campaign to get more white families to procreate.

As for sending them back, if they are born here where should they go back to?

Have you looked into your family history - have your family always lived in the UK? Perhaps you have Swedish/Irish/French/German/African/Asia... etc heritage - perhaps YOU should go back to YOUR country.

Perhaps by looking into British history you may find the answer as to why there are people originally from India, Pakistan, Caribbean etc in the UK. Does it have anything to do with colonisation? The need for cheap labour? You cannot rape the world then expect no come back, can you?

P.S Before you get your knickers in a twist - remember, the UK is still 94 - 95% WHITE. Keep things in perspective.
Reply:i dont want to get into the political side really coz although i agree with you, i dont know enough. but yeah, how disturbing? someone has soon gotta realise thats a really bad thing. cant help thinking there will be a civil war in the uk in my lifetime

George is an old man's name, but there's a 14 year old boy living next door to me called George, and my cousin's 10 year old son is also called George. Both these children were named during Clinton's presidency, how could their mothers have known another George was on his way to the White House ?

Stop peddling this garbage and take up origami or something.
Reply:I find it very interesting how many anti-whites have answered your question.

Reply:The mountain will stay where it is and the Mohammeds will remain where they are, and you shouldnt be disturbed about Mohammeds outnumbering Georges, this should have been thought a century ago when the Georges were trying to rule the mohammeds in the country of Mohammeds. Now its too late and pretty soon Georges will get to the history pages.
Reply:way to go, cici!
Reply:You should be careful making comparisons especially those derived from the gutter press. Just for the record, George is not a popular UK name, especially with its association with a certain Mr Bush. In the extremely unlikely event that large of Muslims in the UK wished to return to their 'homelands', the British economy would collapse. Who would we blame for all our problems next? Would it be the Jews, the Irish or the Welsh?

What is the most popular name in america right now?

america has soooooo many names to choose from with so many meanings how do you know the right one to choose from? what if its the wrong name , i mean my name is cool and people dont make fun of it but what if you give someone a name and people find a way to make it funny?.......

What is the most popular name in america right now?
Wow, that's a question that's all over the place... Where to start?

The top boy and girl names for 2006 were Jacob and Emily.

http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/

To choose, parents have to decide how they want to start. My husband and I decided we wanted all our children to have family names. So we started there, then eliminated the ones that sounded bad, we didn't like, or didn't go well with our last name. Then we had a small group to choose from. Each set of parents does it differently. Some have friends and family give suggestions then draw out of a hat, others buy baby name books, etc.

And you can't stress about giving a 'bad' name. While you should be careful not to give your child any really obviously bad ones, the rest is up to the kids. If the kids want to make fun of a child, and their name is not an easy target, they'll find something else. So that's not a reason to freak out over naming your child.
Reply:The Social Security Administration tracks baby names by each year.

Go to the following website:

http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/

As far as the other concerns, you can get a lot of information on the web as to the origin of names. As far as coolness, I really wouldn't worry about that stigma. You grow out of it.
Reply:Sanjaya? Shyamali?
Reply:Bush is currently the most popular name in America.
Reply:Here's the list of the top 100 names for both boys %26amp; girls for last year. I don't think you can stress too hard about a name that can or cannot be made fun of - if kids want to tease someone, they'll find a way %26amp; if not the name, then they'll search for something else. The best we can do as parents %26amp; a community is to try to teach our children about respect for other people's differences, whether it is their name, their dress, the way they talk, etc.

In 2006, Emma and Aiden were still holding court, although in 2005 parents preferred Aiden spelled with -an. Meanwhile, seven newcomers entered the Top 100. For girls, Aubrey, Juliana, Maggie, and the intriguing Nevaeh 鈥?heaven spelled backward 鈥?made the list; for boys, Brody, Miles, and Peyton rose into view.

What's on the way out? Bailey and Makayla are falling fast for girls, and for boys, Julian plummeted 17 spots to #95, so it may heading for the exit. Check out more 2006 trends in baby names!

Reply:I would advise you against simply choosing one of the popular names for your child. When there are 3 or 4 kids in a classroom with the same first name things just get confusing. Try to find a name that is "normal" (meaning doesn麓t look like it floated to the surface of your alphabet soup), but still distinctive. (Don麓t take a common name and give it a weird spelling, such as Ashleigh instead of Ashley, it麓s just going to doom the poor kid to forever having to correct the spelling.)

I have survived being the only person my age with my name (the only others I麓ve encountered were at least my parents麓 age) and I can麓t remember anyone ever making fun of it.

If you麓re really obsessive about choosing a name, you could do what my sister and brother-in-law did: each of them went through a baby-name book, marking the names they liked, then put all of the names, meanings and their personal ratings in a massive database. By the time they finished, they had around 150 names, which they narrowed down to 4 girl麓s combinations (first and middle) and 3 boy麓s. Then they waited until the baby was born to actually pick a name. Personally, I think this is just a bit excessive.
Reply:People like the name Hannah for a girl and Clay or Kyle for a boy. I have heard those a lot lately.

Has "Homer" become a popular name for babies since The Simpsons TV series began?

I do not know anyone named homer -young or old-

Has "Homer" become a popular name for babies since The Simpsons TV series began?
I am an employee for a contracting company that works with newborn babies in hospitals. I have never, NEVER heard of a baby with the name HOMER!!! So, if you are considering the name no matter when you have a child your child may be the one and only besides the original Homer Simpson!!!
Reply:No, Homer was very popular around 1880-1890 and tapered off, dissappearing almost completely by 1980. Simpsons started in 1989.
Reply:Homer should only be used in baseball, like= Oh, wow, he just hit a homer....
Reply:i think you watch too much tv...
Reply:Some famous person named their kid Homer. Anne Heche I think. What an awful name. . . but I'd rather be named after the Homer of the Odyssey than Homer Simpson! ;-)
Reply:Yeah, Homer's a real role model. Stands to reason that every prospective parent would want to name their kids after him.
Reply:No I don't think so. lol
Reply:Dear God, let's hope not. What an awful name!
Reply:Really? I thought it was because of the popularity of the Iliad.
Reply:I've never heard of anyone named homer in my life. Besides homer simpson

Margoton la jeune bergère

Trouvant dans l'herbe un petit chat

Qui venait de perdre sa mère

L'adopta

Elle entrouvre sa collerette

Et le couche contre son sein

C'était tout c'quelle avait pauvrette

Comm' coussin

Le chat la prenant pour sa mère

Se mit à téter tout de go

Emue, Margot le laissa faire

Brav' Margot

Patiemment

Puis un jour ivres de colère

Elles s'armèrent de bâtons

Et farouches elles immolèrent

Le chaton

La bergère après bien des larmes

Pour s'consoler prit un mari

Et ne dévoila plus ses charmes

Que pour lui

Le temps passa sur les mémoires

On oublia l'évènement

Seul des vieux racontent encore

A leurs p'**** enfants

Quand Margot dégrafait son corsage

Pour donner la gougoutte à son chat

Tous les gars, tous les gars du village

Etaient là, la la la la la la

Reply:It is quite popular and very nice.

It is also the name of very good and famous red wine chateau.... Chateaux Margaux.

Note that you can also spell it Margot. It is coming from the nick name of Marguerite. St Marguerite was a Queen from Scotland.

Orginally it is a persan name "margiritis" which means PEARL
Reply:Yes but not overly so. Say it "Mar-go". Remember to not put a stress on either syllable.

It's classic and very French. Once English speakers know how to say it, it's not a problem for them either.

Need name of song that is recently popular in clubs and is mainly just a beat but includes words 'come get it'?

Does anyone know? The song just does a bunch of beats or... this one beat a lot... err... and the words come get it seem to be in there somewhere. Relatively new but like as of 2008 or 9, not brand new.

Why some name are popular and some are unpopular?

it 's easy to undrestand

Why some name are popular and some are unpopular?
Trends. When I was a lad, every third boy was named John, for JFK. Nowadays, Johns are pretty rare. When I was a boy, Crystal was something you gave at weddings, not even a cat's name. But post 1980s, Crystal became amazingly popular as a girl's name.

It goes in cycles.

Mohammed now the second most popular name in Britain?

after Jack. What do you think of that? Personally I think its time to wake up to reality!

Mohammed now the second most popular name in Britain?
I agree. It just goes to show how many brainwashed people we have in this country that would name their child after a friggin' teddy bear.
Reply:Trish I fear its already to late.

Reply:little britain is on the decline perhaps that name will be its swansong

wake up to the reality that about 3% of the people in this country are not white atheists who name their boys romeo, brooklyn or any of the hundreds of saints names (Chritopher, John, Mark, Paul, Peter, etc).

Get over it...

It's a terrible name, Jack.

How can people do this to their children?

Chemists once called the group 18 elements the inert gases. Why is this name less popular now?

Robert S is right. eg Xenon hexafluoroplatinate Xe+[PtF6]鈭?, XeF2, XeF4, and XeF6.

Ne and He are the least reactive of the noble gases as they are very hard to ionise as they have a smaller atomic radius. As you go down the group the ionisation energies are less as the outer electrons are further away from the nucleus and not as strongly held.

Chemists once called the group 18 elements the inert gases. Why is this name less popular now?
u mean 8 not 18 dunno im taught noble gases rather than inert why does anything change.
Reply:its still popular i believe
Reply:Because they are not completely inert.

They can under special circumstances be made to react with some other elements (usually the halogens).

The more modern name is Noble Gases as they have a fully completed electronic configuration and are difficult to undergo any reaction.

How popular is the name Sage for a baby girl? and middle name Ideas? ?

Hello, I am wondering on how popular is the name Sage?

for a baby girl... but could it be used for a baby boy to?

I think it would be cuter for a girl though.

Okay, secondly I am looking for middle name ideas.

Can do both genders if you want.

No, I'm not expecting a baby yet.

How popular is the name Sage for a baby girl? and middle name Ideas? ?
I don't think it's that common. i've only met ONE little girl named Sage and that was 17 yrs ago.

i think i'd prefer it spelled Saige (because sage is a spice). i find it lovely. it's on my favs list as a matter of fact as Saige Elise.
Reply:Sage was ranked #468 for popularity as a girls name in the US in 2007.

So I think it would be safe to say little Sage will be the only one in her class! But it's known as a name, not weird or hard to spell or pronounce.

Since Sage is short and somewhat unisex, you could go with a more frilly middle name, such as:

Sage Eliana

Sage Adriana

Sage Alexandra

Sage Elena

On the other hand, you could go for one of the unisex names:

Sage Harper

Sage Addison

For boys, Sage was ranked #719, so there were about 315 little male Sages born in 2007.

I think it would be a great boys name but it would need to be paired with a strong masculine middle name:

Sage Christopher

Sage Harrison

Sage William

Sage Nicholas

Sage Hunter? Well, it's masculine, but doesn't seem to fit!

Best wishes!
Reply:I wouldn't use it for a baby boy, I like Gage or Gaige for a baby boy if you want a similar name for a boy.

Sage is really cute for a girl I also like the spelling Saige.

Saige has not been higher than 360 out of 1000 top names, and is losing popularity.

Saige Marie

Sage Elizabeth

Sage Isabel

Sage Annabel

Sage Marissa

Sage Mariah

Reply:I think she would hate that name when she gets older, but it is cute. Yuffie it a cute name (short for Josephina) or Kikyo, Kagome, Mae, Lyobov, Svetlana, or Mariska. I'm going to name my baby London, if its a girl, If its a boy, sasha Alexy, Andri, or Luloush or possibly Ming.
Reply:Girls:

Sage Caroline

Sage Emmeline

Sage Noella

Sage Morrigan

Boys:

Sage Raymond

Sage Nathaniel

Sage Austin

Sage Henry
Reply:I would stick with Sage for a girl. It is a cute name. Maybe Sage Marie, Sage Elisabeth, or Sage Addisyn.

Of all the possible first names and of all the possible last names, one of each had to be the most common. It's inevitable. It just happened to be those 2 names, but there's no rhyme or reason to it.

What designer name purses do popular gilrs carry at the age of 23 and what fashion magazines do the read?

Sorbier

Torrente

Nina Ricci

Laroche (if you can find one, that is)

Gaultier

Lacroix

For a start =)

Ninety-eight percent of the 'Chanel' you see in America is fake - come on over to Paris and you'll see the difference. Besides, I only know a handful of twenty-three year olds who can drop three thousand dollars for a purse on the spot.

What designer name purses do popular gilrs carry at the age of 23 and what fashion magazines do the read?
I'm not 23 but I like to read Teen Vogue (you might want to read Vogue), Lucky, Elle, and occasionally Cosmo. When I go shopping I usually see twenty-three year old women carrying:

Coach

Dooney %26amp; Bourke

Marc Jacobs

(sometimes) Prada, Gucci.

Louis Vuitton

Chanel (like all the time)

I've never seen them carry Vera Bradleys, or totes from AE, Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, or Aeropostale.

I hope this helps :)
Reply:I don't carry a purse, but I know that my cousin loves her Prada.

Cosmo always has good articles, as well as Elle and Glamour.

Hope that helps.

Coach purses are really cute, just make sure its real and only buy it from a Coach outlet.
Reply:Real-life women at 23 carry brand names such as Coach and Dooney %26amp; Bourke because they are widely available at mid-range department stores and also respective retail stores in shopping malls. Magazines: Lucky, Cosmopolitan and In Style.
Reply:girls that age read cosmopolitan and they carry gucci and versace they also carry some nice leather saging bags those look cool

have fun:)
Reply:designers like gucci, coach, louis vuitton, channel...etc etc high end fashion
Reply:Well, in this economy if your rich enough you can wear just about any purse you like!!!
Reply:Magazines:

Cosmopolitan

Reply:all I have to say is Chanel.

Louis Vuitton are nice, but everyone has one.

If Obama is elected, will Hussein become a popular name for babies in America?
its mine opinion that your all NUTS! Report Abuse

Reply:Are you gonna name your baby Hussein, Bob. Let's just see: Bob Hussein (what ever your last name is) Jr. It has a nice ring to it, don't ya think? Wait, sorry, don't think. Sounds like it could put quite a strain on you.
Reply:Doubtful, since people only seem to name their children after someone they like and respect. If Obama gets into the Whitehouse I doubt that there will be that many Americans after four years that will like or respect him.

Does having a really popular name bug you?

YES! My name is Amber and there were always at least 3 other Amber's in all of my classes at school. Even now at 25 years old I have 2 best friends named Amber AND a step-sister with the same name. Because of this I've tried to give my kids names that are not as common.

My kids are:

Alexandria Elizabeth

Clayton Daniel

Dannicka Cheayne

Erynn Marie

Does having a really popular name bug you?
My name isn't common, Saoirse (seersha) so i've never had that problem. When I was younger I really wanted to be named something more common. I believe it was Jennifer that I wanted to change my name to when I was like eleven or twelve. but now I like being different.

One of my sisters, Megan, graduated with five other girls who had the same name as her with different spellings. That would be really annoying and makes me appreciate my "weird" name ha ha ha
Reply:Growing up I had a popular name (Amanda). It never really bothered me much. I always kind of liked it. Never cared that there was 2 or 3 of us in the same class with the same name. Like I said, personally, I liked it. And I could ALWAYS find stuff with my name on it. No matter where I went. My sister (Alysha) was always jealous cause there was nothing with her name on it- at least the way she spells it.
Reply:I don't have a popular name and I am very glad!! My name is unique! (It's Halston) If I had the name Ashley I wouldn't want to be known as "Ashley M." or "Ashley T."

I like my name b/c not a lot of people have it.

Hope this helps! :]
Reply:My name is a little common but used in many different ways. My name is Shanna (Shayna) and it is pronounced in like 4 different ways so that can be the only annoying part. I'd say about 1 out of 10 say it right the first time.
Reply:I have a very unpopular name Jonica, and I use to hate it when I was younger but now that I am an adult with children of my own, I love how different it is, I named my girls...Makayla %26amp; Jaylyn not too popular
Reply:My name is Westley, but it was never too popular. I only knew another guy named Wesley which I think is more common.

My sons name is Jacob, and I feel terrible now that I realize its so darn popular.
Reply:yeah because if you hear "Emily" for example 50 people turn toward you thinking you are talking to them.

If you really want attention, say "Mom" in a department store. lol
Reply:The only thing that bugs me about my name is that the only people who seem to share it are old ladies.
Reply:I don't think my name is popular at all. My name is Teresa.
Reply:Mine is Jennie. Jennifer. Yes, sometimes I wish there were less of us.
Reply:Not really since I don't have a popular name.

What is the more popular name of constellation Ursa Major(the grreater Bear)?

The big dipper isn't actually Ursa Major, it's just part of it. It's what's called an Asterism. From the wikipedia article that I linked at the bottom:

"In astronomy, an asterism is a pattern of stars seen in Earth's sky which is not an official constellation. Like constellations, they are composed of stars which, while they are in the same general direction, are not physically related, often being at significantly different distances from Earth. An asterism may be composed of stars from one or more constellations. Their mostly simple shapes and few stars make these patterns easy to identify and thus particularly useful to those just learning to orient themselves when viewing the night sky."

Edit: That means that the popular name for Ursa Major is "The Great Bear". Ursa Minor, however, is better known as "The Little Dipper"

What is the more popular name of constellation Ursa Major(the grreater Bear)?
Big Dipper
Reply:big dipper
Reply:Actually The Big Dipper isn't the more popular name of the constellation Ursa Major. The Big Dipper is an asterism which is a smaller picture within a constellation. There is not a more popular name for the constellation Ursa Major. Most people just see The Big Dipper when observing Ursa Major so they do not realize that there is more to it.

We are wanting to name our son Jaxon Patrick and call him Jax. Is this too popular?

We live in Ohio. But it seems like every corner I turn I hear that name. Is it as popular as I think now or is it just because I am listening for it?

We are wanting to name our son Jaxon Patrick and call him Jax. Is this too popular?
Jax is awesome. Do you watch General Hospital? The character that plays Jax is a hotty of an Australian. Check it out. He's got blond hair and blue eyes that just make you want to melt. So go for it. I don't think it is that popular. Maybe Jack, but not Jax.
Reply:Jaxon is not as popular as a Jacob- Kudos to you for not choosing the most popular boys name!

If you are hearing the name Jaxon a lot, it is probably spelled Jackson, but pronounced the same as Jaxon.

I personally like the name Jaxon Patrick.
Reply:I think jackson is becoming popular, I just named my son Jackson with NN Jack. Jaxon less popular but growing fast as people try to come up with creative ways to spell it. I like the X in the name but not in Jackson so I named my son Jackson Xavier. So I have my Jack and my X
Reply:My husband and I loved the name Jaxon and Jackson...it's all pronounced the same. But then it seemed like we heard the name everywhere and it is defiently growing in popularity. I think that Jax is an adorable nickname. I guess I like names that are a little different too.
Reply:i personally prefer the "jackson" spelling, but i'm not opposed to "jaxon", it's still really cute. plus the nickname "jax" is nice. i would say that "jaxon" is less common that "jackson".
Reply:I don't think it is super popular, but the spelling is very unusual. I really like that name! As long as you like the name, go for it! I also like the name Carter or Carver for a boy!
Reply:It seems to be getting more popular, I have heard of lots of people who like it...but I haven't actually met any ! I think it is great and Jax is a very cute nickname!
Reply:Is the name pronounced Jackson? if it is its a common name, but by changing the spelling it look different. i think it sounds nice.
Reply:I live in California and have never heard of that name....but I have heard of Jackson and shortened to Jack. A bit different but similiar. I like the name!

Congrats!
Reply:It is becoming very popular. If you like it though, don't worry about that. If you want something more unique, what about Braxton (Brax) or Xavier (Xav ... "zayv")
Reply:It is getting very popular. Check out any online mom group and you'll find atleast 3 or 4 of them plus many more pg women that are thinking of that name. If you're going to use it spell it right.
Reply:It does seems to be growing in fame. I personally like Jackson, nn Jack. I really don't see any appeal in Jaxon, sorry.
Reply:Dunno if it's too popular, but it's definitely too silly.
Reply:i dont think that spelling is as popular as Jack or jacks

but i like it and i think its a good name for your son.
Reply:It is getting very popular.
Reply:Jaxton? No way. It reminds me of a lot of cereals. How about Jason Patrick or Jordan Patrick. The list goes on and on, but not with Jaxton.
Reply:Jax is awesome. But Patrick way too common.
Reply:How about

Jackson

and call your little treasure "Jack"

xx
Reply:no not a good name kids will make fun of him jax off not a good choice

Old-Slime Head New-Orange Roughy. Although I'm sure the one you're looking for is Mahi-Mahi.......... I have looked everywhere and this may be weird, but they eat a lot of Pirhana in South America.
