What is the most popular name in Australia?
Jack is on top when it comes to men.

This one says Jack and Isabella in 2007, but it's only in New South Wales.

Other pages list Emily, Isabella and Charlotte as top one for women. On the male side the only other name that comes up are Joshua.





Not that this is , of course, baby names and not the names of the whole population, that kind of information has proved to be harder to find.

All names from 1929 can be searched by gender, birth year/decade and you can search it all. Doing a search for all names since 1929 you get John and Margaret.
