Name of a popular baseball song?

It's not "Put me in Coach" but it sounds similar and is played at every baseball game I have been too. It's older and for the life of me I can't think of it.

Name of a popular baseball song?
Centerfield by John C. Fogerty

Reply:Tessie - Dropkick Murphys

This song is from 2004 when the Sox won the Series. I love it, it gets me all hyped up. It's not the song you are thinking of, but I thought I would add that in.

I can't think of the song you are thinking of if it isn't Centerfield.

which is sung during the 7th inning strecth @ NL games idk about AL games though, because the 1 and only AL game i have been to was when i was really little at yankee stadium
Reply:It's called, "Centerfield" by John Fogerty. It was released in 1985. I used to call the radio station and request it all the time.
Reply:"Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Probably the most well-known and most sung baseball song ever.

Chow!!
Reply:He says it's not "Put Me In Coach" which "Centerfield" is often called. Maybe you're thinking of "Boys of Summer" by Don Henley (and covered by some crap band a couple years ago). Just a suggestion as I know what it's like to hear a song and not know what it's called or who sings it.

Good luck.
