Is mackenzie a popular baby name right now?

i live in southwestern pennsylvania. i don't know ay girls around here by that name, but it's been rumored that it's very "popular". is it popular for a baby name in your area?

Around here (Minnesota) it was about 5 or 6 years ago. I haven't heard of anyone using the name recently

Reply:Yes, but it seems to be going down in popularity recently. It was the 64th most popular name for girls born in the US in 2007.
Reply:Well, I only know one Mackenzie that's my age (15) so I don't think it's too popular. It's common and definitely not unheard of, but not so common that people are sick of it. I love the nickname Kenzie.





I actually prefer Mackenzie on a boy, which is where it originated. Mac is a sweet nickname.
