I went to a club one night and the bar maid was passing around these long colorful tubes of sweet tasting shots for a few bucks each. i didn't get the chance to really find out what i was drinking (probably not always a good idea LOL) but it was so good, it tasted like candy and the one i had was lime green. Can anyone share a few tasty sweet drinks/shots i could maybe try out at a bar?
Can anyone name a few popular sour/sweet shooters?
Sorry I dont know the name of the shot you had but I do have a suggestion, I reccomend half baileys half creme de menthe (half chocolate half mint liquor) tastes just like an after dinner mint.
Reply:with the new fad being flavored vodka, its really easy to get a shot/drink that is really good tasting and still high in alcohol content. When in doubt, you can always order a flavored vodka in sprite or soda, or even added to a juice. When people dont really know what to drink for a shooter, i tend to suggest a melon ball. it is melon liqour (like midori) with a little bit of vodka and sour mix. A grape crush is really nice too, because its not overly sweet, but still goes down well. It is raspberry liqour, (razzmatazz or chambord), raspberry vodka, and sour mix.
If you want to get a good buzz on without having to down alot of sugary drinks, you can always order a washington apple. They are popular becuase while they taste really good when made right, they still pack quite a punch, and can be served either as a shot or on the rocks. It consists of crown royal, apple pucker, and cranberry juice. Kamikazees are nice, and can be blue, green, or even raspberry (and served as a shot or as a drink as well, and most bartenders will have this drink recipe in their knowledge)... but don't mix those with any creamy drinks or shots, because they have lime juice in it, and that will curdle in your tummy with any creamy drinks you might have already drank.
Reply:Buttery Nipples are good -- they taste sorta like chocolate milk, really candy-like. Kamikazes are pretty good, too -- they're lime-y.
