Is the name Nevaeh only popular in the USA?

Unfortunately, no. I've checked multiple name popularity sites for different continents and countries, and Nevaeh is usually somewhere within the top 100 or so.

I despise this name. It's butt-ugly, completely and utterly horrible. What people without a plausible IQ don't know is the Pagan tradition of reciting prayers backwards (along with pronunciation), giving them a backwards meaning. And seeing that "heaven" is in practically every prayer, it means Hell. Hell, not heaven. People might as well give every Nevaeh the middle name is Ohmygodmyparentisanidiot. Or Diputs. Or Norom. Or Toidi.

Seriously, there should be a law prohibiting the name. I bet you that over 90% of the girls named Nevaeh live in a trailer park with their "Maw-Maw" and "Paw-Paw", as well as their sister, "Destiny". Oh, and with all of the "Kennedy"s. (Kennedy means "Ugly head", so it would go well with a name meaning "Hell", don't you think?)

I almost want to spit on every kid named Nevaeh, but then again, I would rather spit on their dumb-*** parents for giving them the horrible name in the first place. Didn't the nurse stop them from naming their baby that? Or the taxi cab driver? Or the person thought to be the father, but hasn't had the tests confirmed yet?

Is the name Nevaeh only popular in the USA?
Since it came from a rock star father, probably. It will probably catch on in the English speaking world, though, since it is Heaven spelled backward. If I had heard that when I was trying to find a name for either of my girls, I would have used it.
Reply:No idea. Never heard of it, and I work with birth certificates. I'm not sure I would even know how to pronounce it, and you will saddle the child with a name that is easily misspelled.
Reply:I hope. At least it's not spreading to other countries then. It's only Americans that are affected (ha ha, I sound like it's a disease! Nevaehitis). I hope it dies down really really soon....
Reply:Sad to say everytime I heard this name the kid lived in a trailor park and usually had a sibling named destiny
Reply:Yes it is very popular, people are even naming their pets Nevaeh.
